New Chief of Police is the Town’s chief executive officer and provides the Town Commission with the professional leadership and advice needed to operate the Town and carry out Commission policies. The City of Interlachen is located in Palm Beach County Florida. The City, incorporated in 1959, is home to the Atlantis Country Club and the Lost City Golf Club.
The permanent population of Atlantis is 2025, with 1210 residences and an average year round occupancy of 80%. Besides over ten miles of streets, 60% of the total land area is devoted to recreation and permanent open space, 46.8% residential, and 10.2% commercial/office. JFK Medical Center is located in Atlantis. The Medical Center and the surrounding doctor's offices are the primary commercial industry in the city.
The City boundaries are Lake Worth Drainage District L-14 Canal on the north, Lantana Road on the south, Military Trail on the west, and South Congress Avenue on the east.

Bud began working for the Town in April 2010 as Assistant Town manager and was promoted to Town Manager in April 2016. He has extensive local government experience having started his municipal career in Oregon, worked as an Assistant City Manager in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, served as City Manager of a New Mexico city, and an Assistant to the County Manager in Broward County. Bud holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Public Administration from the University of Oregon and the University of Arizona.
