Swim Lessons

Swim America is a national, goal-driven and technique oriented learn-to-swim program. Sessions run Monday-Thursday for two weeks. Average class size is 6 swimmers per coach. Preschool participants must be 3 years old before the first class and must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Participants must attend the time and location of the session they are registered for.

Private Swim Lessons

Utilizing our Swim America program, swimmers ages 3 and up may now take advantage of our one-on-one instruction!

Aqua Aerobics Classes

Manhattan Parks and Recreation offers a variety of aqua aerobics classes designed to fit any need. Try Water Workout or Body Waves at CiCo Waterpark for a low-impact workout for any age and fitness level. Or, try River Running at City Waterpark, for an increased intensity workout, jogging against the current of our lazy river!

Junior Lifeguarding

Call all youth, ages 12 to 14! Are you dreaming of being a lifeguard when you grow up? Here's your chance to get a jump on things! Join our 2019 Junior Lifeguarding class, where you will learn the basics of lifesaving from our certified staff. Students who take this class with us will be offered the opportunity to work for us upon turning 15, with the certification paid for by the Manhattan Parks and Recreation Department!
